Types of colocation
What are the different options available from the different Colocation providers? There is managed or unmanaged meaning will the customer provide that maintenance or the customer? When using the managed service the provider has a dedicated server and is preconfigured with certain software that the customer can use. The service provider will provide any updates to the software that it provides along with general maintenance, hardware failure, and file backups. There are draw backs to this type of service such as if a certain piece of software is needed for your website and the provider does not support it then you have no other option.
